OFFICIAL RULES  OF THE COMPETITION

“My Best Run

 

Section 1. ORGANIZER

The organizer of the competition “My Best Run” (hereinafter referred to as “Competition”) is Bucharest Running Club Association – ABRC (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), with headquarters in Romania, Bucharest, District 1, Brazilia street, no. 7, registered with CUI 21585951. The organizer reserves the right to amend the regulation, bringing to the public’s knowledge of this fact.

 

Section 2. PLACE AND DURATION OF THE COMPETITION

The competition is organized on the territory of Romania, between 16th  – 31st  august 2017, 23:59:59 hour (Romania time), according to the provisions of the present Official Rules.

 

Section 3. OBJECTIVE

This competition aims to promote performance athletes or amateurs who exceed their limits by running and sharing their stories and/or testimonials that express personal performance evolution during racing and training.

 

Section 4. PARTICIPANTS

All runners who participated at least in 3 races, any place worldwide, during their life can join in the competition. Runners of all nationalities are allowed to participate.

 

Section 5. MECHANISM OF THE COMPETITION

The competition is organized between august 16th -31st with the following mechanism:

Runners have to publicly post on their Facebook account, personal wall, a story that describes the personal evolution starting from the first running competition until achieving their Best Record in running under #MyBestRun hashtag.

Participants must mention the following aspects: pre-race preparation, the feelings they had during the race and after that and what changes have occurred in their lives since they started to run. This description must be accompanied by several high-quality and suggestive photos taken during the race or training.

 

Section 6. PRIZES

Bucharest RUNNING CLUB Association offer 5 technical adidas t-shirts for running.

 

Section 7. WINNERS DESIGNATION AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES.

The winners’ designation will be made as follows: during the competition period, the Bucharest Running Club will select the posts that meet the requirements of Section 5 of this regulation. These stories will be published on the official website www.bucharest-marathon.com and in the Newsletter of Bucharest Marathon platform. In this way, all the stories will have the same type of exposure for each participant.

At the end of the competition, between September 1st -3rd, we will open up for 72 hours, a voting system on the official website where every participant will get a polling box where it can be voted by anyone. The top 5 most voted stories will be awarded.

The designation of the winners shall be made on September 4th, and the winners list will be published on the official Facebook page and on the website (Bucharest-marathon.com).

To receive the prize, the winners must send a private message on Bucharest Marathon Facebook chat (https://www.facebook.com/BucharestMarathon/) with the full home address and personal data-name, surname, telephone, t-shirt measure and an identity card copy.

*For the winners from abroad, they are responsible to cover the transport fee for the prize delivery.

**The winners that are living in Bucharest can pick up their prize from ABRC office.

The participant is fully responsible for the accuracy of his personal data sent to the organiser. The personal data will be strictly used for the purpose of the current competition only.

 

Section 8. ALTERNATIVE PRIZES

The prize awarded may not be replaced by another prize or changed with its value in cash.

 

Section 9. CESSATION of the COMPETITION

This competition may cease only in case of a force majeure event, including in the case of the Organizer’s impossibility to continue for reasons beyond its control or in the case of an unexpected situation that would require a higher budget than the one originally planned.

 

Section 10. FINAL TERMS

The organizer reserves the right to change this regulation during the competition duration in the sense of ensuring the competition correctness. All the changes will be implemented only after their publication on the official website of ABRC (bucharest-marathon.com).

The organizer reserves the right to select the most beautiful stories that also include illustrations with the adidas equipment and to use them in online and offline communication for ABRC events, in Newsletters and Livestreaming.
