Forests represent a topic that often holds the first page of Romanian newspapers and is more and more present in daily news and TV debates. In a society dominated by lack of interest and reaction, We plant good deeds in Romania, the national afforestation initiative based on voluntary work, tackles the cause of forests in Romania in a different manner.

From 2011 onwards, We plant good deeds in Romania organized trees planting activities in 22 counties – almost 28,000 volunteers planted 576,143 seedlings on over 180 hectares.

#TeamPFBRo will take part for the second consecutive year in the Bucharest International Marathon. Runners who choose to support this cause will make a long-term difference and will change future generations at educational level (by showing them the importance of forests and of collective power for a clean environment).

We plant good deeds in Romania is also present on the Galantom platform for those who choose to support it with donations on behalf of running athletes:

On November 18, We plant good deeds in Romania will organize an afforestation campaign in 10 counties of Romania. For each donation, runners will plant trees on behalf of donors in the Athletes’ Forest from Jegalia, Calarasi County, where the first trees were planted in 2016.
