Viitor Plus

Would you like to participate in the fight against the global climate crisis?

Do you already recycle at home, at the office, or do you just want to further develop your good habit of recycling?

Do you know that each and every one of your actions is important because just by working together, as a whole, the results that are beneficial to the environment can really accumulate and make an impact?

If you answered yes to at least one of these questions, then we invite you to support and run for the cause of the Recycling Map – a project of the ViitorPlus Association!

What is the Recycling Map? is the first national, interactive platform that allows you to identify and locate the points where recyclable waste can be taken to. This Map, currently available only in Romania, gives the user the possibility to contribute to the map database, through adding new selective collection points – if they do not already exist, or by reviewing existing ones, if their description is not in line with the reality.

The Recycling Map also has an educational component outside the virtual environment, in order to motivate the students and young people to collect the waste separately and to identify where they can leave them, by accessing the map. We have trained and coordinated “eco-ambassadors” volunteers who spoke this summer with thousands of young people at 30 recreational, cultural, sporting events. Also, starting this fall, “eco-ambassadors” will hold educational workshops for 100,000 students from all over the country.

The Recycling Map Platform is a ViitorPlus project – the association for sustainable development. ViitorPlus is a non-profit organization with 13 years of experience in developing social entrepreneurship, environmental education, volunteering and environmental infrastructure programs.
