Children for the Future Association is a non-governmental organization created out of the desire to improve the lives of children from at-risk environments, to offer them a chance at a better future, to encourage them to continue their education, to learn, explore, gain confidence, and grow.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2016 in Lupeni, Hunedoara County, the organization has developed over the years various community engagement programs, supporting hundreds of people from vulnerable backgrounds across multiple counties. It contributes to reducing school dropout by providing essential resources for children to attend school, organizing workshops on personal development, financial education, media education, and ecology. The association also offers material support to dozens of individuals with health problems who cannot cover their expenses.<\/p>\n

The mission of the association is to improve quality of life and create a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations by reducing school dropout, promoting social and professional integration, providing psychological support, educational and career guidance, and reducing extreme poverty and food waste. Our main beneficiaries are children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and the social protection system.<\/p>\n

The vision of the association is to contribute to building a better future for children, especially those in vulnerable situations, by promoting education, protection, health, and development in a safe, sustainable, and equitable environment.<\/p>\n

The values promoted by the association are: equal opportunities, solidarity, social responsibility, respect for human dignity, educational innovation, and integrity.<\/p>\n

Our main projects:<\/p>\n

Community Lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n

This program combines social interaction, active learning, and food waste reduction. It is dedicated to children from disadvantaged backgrounds and elderly people with limited income. Volunteers, together with community members, cook hot meals and organize educational workshops and activities for children.<\/p>\n

Jiu Valley Community HUB<\/strong><\/p>\n

In October 2024, with the support of our sponsors and partners, we opened the Jiu Valley Community HUB. This project supports people of all ages, especially children, teenagers, and youth, through non-formal education methods based on play and real-life experiences.<\/p>\n

I Go to High School! 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

This project focuses on non-formal education and career guidance, supporting teenagers in their educational and social development. Started in March 2024, it involves 20 students and includes personal development, entrepreneurship, theatre techniques, art, creative workshops, and outdoor exploration.<\/p>\n

Simeria Educational Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

Launched in 2022, this long-term project supports children in continuing their education through after-school activities.<\/p>\n

Currently, 16 children benefit from homework assistance, a hot meal, snacks, and educational and recreational activities in a welcoming environment at the Social Assistance Directorate in Simeria.<\/p>\n

Little Explorers Incubator<\/strong><\/p>\n

An educational program for primary school children, designed to encourage learning, reading, discovery, creativity, and personal growth, helping them build a better future and successful careers.<\/p>\n

Supporting Children with Serious Illnesses at Marie Curie Hospital Bucharest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since March 2016, we have supported hospitalized children with serious illnesses by providing special diets, supplements, medication, hygiene products, clothing, and medical devices. We also offer books, toys, and tablets to bring comfort and joy during hospitalization.\n \nEvery year, we aim to expand our projects and initiate new ones to support as many vulnerable people as possible. Our goal is to bring hope, smiles, and better living conditions to those in need\u2014but we need your help to do this.<\/p>\n

Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 acestea, copiii bolnavi au nevoie \u015fi de momente de r\u0103sf\u0103\u0163, de relaxare, de \u201cevadare\u201d, astfel c\u0103 pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 alimente, suplimente, mediacamente, produse de igien\u0103 personal\u0103, scutece, dispozitive medicale, \u00eembr\u0103c\u0103minte, etc, oferim copiilor bolnavi \u015fi c\u0103r\u0163i de citit \u015fi de colorat, creioane colorate, juc\u0103rii, deserturi delicioase \u015fi chiar tablete, care s\u0103 fac\u0103 experien\u0163a intern\u0103rii \u00een spital una mai u\u015foar\u0103.<\/p>\n

\u00cen fiecare an, \u00eenc\u0103 de la \u00eenfiin\u0163are, ne propunem s\u0103 dezvolt\u0103m \u0163i s\u0103 extindem proiectele \u015fi programele noastre \u015fi s\u0103 ini\u0163iem proiecte \u015fi programe noi, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t s\u0103 sprijinim c\u00e2t mai multe persoane din medii de risc, din c\u00e2t mai multe comunit\u0103\u0163i. \u00cen fiecare an ne dorim s\u0103 aducem z\u00e2mbete, speran\u0163\u0103, \u015fansa la un trai decent \u015fi la un viitor mai bun pentru persoane din medii vulnerabile. Dar pentru toate acestea avem nevoie \u015fi de ajutorul t\u0103u.<\/p>\n

Funds raised through participation in the Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon 2025, as well as those from previous editions, will support children from vulnerable backgrounds in continuing their education. Most funds will go to the Simeria Educational Center, helping children with homework, meals, and personal development activities.<\/p>\n
