\u201cALIA Association\u201d was founded to promote and defend the rights and interests of the patients that are having a stroke, or have suffered a stroke, or are prone to a stroke accident. We believe that is necessary to educate the entire community about the needs of such patients and we will demonstrate why it is so necessary to have access to a good medical treatment as soon as possible. \nOur mission is also aimed towards the public awareness in regards to a stroke prevention, its recognition (signs and symptoms) and understanding the steps that need to be taken when we are next to a person who is suffering from a stroke. \n\u201cALIA\u201d will initiate, develop and conduct lobbying and advocacy activities to improve the quality of life of the patients who have suffered a stroke and the quality of life of the families that support them.\nWe are fighting for a society that can offer to all the people affected by a stroke all the necessary support and the chance to live a life as close as possible to normality.\nAs said above, ALIA\u2019s actions have a humanitarian purpose to increase the quality of life of the people affected by a stroke. However, we need to mobilize both patients and their families to support and promote our initiatives, in order to represent a strong voice to those who can make decisions regarding the patients\u2019 access to a good medical treatment and healthcare services.\nOur values are: transparency, solidarity, optimism, involvement, respect, efficiency and coherence.\nStroke is the second biggest cause of death worldwide after ischemic heart disease and the main cause of disability. Annually in Romania, 55.000 people suffer an ischemic stroke, 7.500 people suffer a hemorrhagic stroke and 1.500 suffer a subarachnoid hemorrhage.\nA report from the World Health Organization shows that in developing countries, stroke is the main cause of disability and the second cause of mortality.\nHowever, only few of these patients receive the necessary care while they are in the hospital and, especially, after they are discharged.\nIn Romania, this issue requires special attention from the authorities. They need to implement a national strategy to reduce the number of the patients who are suffering from a stroke and ensure a fair access to a medical treatment for all the patients across the country (acute treatment and neurological recovery). Also, the authorities will have to ensure a good life, at a satisfactory level, for the person who has survived a stroke. \nWith ALIA Association we aim to:\n-\traise the public awareness of the prevention, treatment and medical services available for the people who suffer a stroke or are prone to a stroke;\n-\tto support the people who suffer\/have suffered a stroke and to understand the problems caused by this disease or the problems leading to it;\n-\tto establish a link\/connection between the patients, their families and the medical professionals who can help them (neurologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation therapists, psychologists, etc.) in order to facilitate as much as possible the medical recovery of the patients who have suffered a stroke, limit the emergence of medical complications and to help the patients in regards to their social and professional reintegration;\n-\tto provide the necessary information for the timely recognition of the first symptoms of a stroke and the conditions that lead to its occurrence;\n-\tto protect the rights of patients who have suffered a stroke, so that they can receive the necessary medical treatment in a timely manner, no matter in which area of the country they are.<\/p>

\u00cen Rom\u00e2nia, peste 65 de mii de oameni sufer\u0103 un AVC \u00een fiecare an, iar v\u00e2rsta la care apare aceast\u0103 problem\u0103 a sc\u0103zut foarte mult \u2013 tot mai des medicii vorbesc despre bolnavi care \u00eenc\u0103 nu au \u00eemplinit 35 de ani. \u00cens\u0103 prea pu\u021bini dintre ace\u0219ti bolnavi au parte de \u00eengrijirile necesare, at\u00e2t \u00een timpul intern\u0103rii \u00een spital, c\u00e2t mai ales dup\u0103 externare.<\/p>

30% din cei care sufer\u0103 un AVC r\u0103m\u00e2n imobiliza\u021bi la pat, iar 20% mor.<\/p>

Rata de mortalitate \u00een Rom\u00e2nia este cu cel pu\u021bin 10% mai mare dec\u00e2t \u00een str\u0103in\u0103tate.<\/p>

Asocia\u021bia \u2018\u2019ALIA \u2013 Asocia\u021bia Pentru Lupta \u00cempotriva Accidentului Vascular Cerebral\u2019\u2019<\/strong> este prima asocia\u021bie din Rom\u00e2nia dedicat\u0103 celor care au suferit un AVC \u0219i a fost \u00eenfiin\u021bat\u0103 din dorin\u021ba de a promova \u0219i ap\u0103ra drepturile \u0219i interesele acestor persoane. Credem c\u0103 este necesar s\u0103 avem o comunitate educat\u0103 cu privire la nevoile unor astfel de bolnavi \u0219i vom ar\u0103ta de ce este at\u00e2t de necesar accesul c\u00e2t mai rapid la tratamente de calitate.<\/p>

Misiunea<\/strong> noastr\u0103 este \u00eendreptat\u0103 \u0219i c\u0103tre ceea ce \u00eenseamn\u0103 con\u0219tientizarea opiniei\u00a0publice cu privire la prevenirea unui AVC, la recunoa\u0219terea acestuia \u0219i la \u00een\u021belegerea pa\u0219ilor ce trebuie urma\u021bi \u00een cazul \u00een care suntem l\u00e2ng\u0103 o persoan\u0103 care sufer\u0103 un AVC.<\/p>

ALIA a ini\u021biat, dezvolt\u0103 \u0219i deruleaz\u0103 activit\u0103\u021bi de lobby \u0219i advocacy pentru \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea calit\u0103\u021bii vie\u021bii persoanelor care au suferit un AVC, dar \u0219i a familiilor care \u00eei sprijin\u0103.<\/p>

Scopul nostru<\/strong> este s\u0103 luptam pentru o societate care s\u0103 ofere tuturor persoanelor afectate un accident vascular cerebral sprijinul necesar \u0219i\u00a0 \u0219ansa de a tr\u0103i o via\u021b\u0103 c\u00e2t mai aproape de normalitate.<\/p>

Ac\u021biunile <\/strong>ALIA au un scop umanitar, acela de a cre\u0219te calitatea vie\u021bii persoanelor afectate de un accident vascular cerebral. Este \u00eens\u0103 necesar sa mobiliz\u0103m at\u00e2t pacien\u021bii, c\u00e2t \u0219i familiile acestora s\u0103 sprijine \u0219i s\u0103 promoveze ini\u021biativele noastre, pentru a reprezenta o voce puternic\u0103 \u00een fa\u021ba celor care pot lua decizii \u00een ceea ce prive\u0219te acesul la tratamente \u0219i servicii medicale de calitate.<\/p>

Accidentele vasculare cerebrale (AVC) reprezint\u0103 a doua cauz\u0103 de mortalitate la nivel global dup\u0103 boala cardiac\u0103 ischemic\u0103 \u0219i principala cauz\u0103 de dizabilitate.<\/p>

A report from the World Health Organization shows that in developing countries, stroke is the main cause of disability and the second cause of mortality.<\/p>

AVC \u00ceN ROM\u00c2NIA<\/strong><\/p>

Problematica AVC \u00een Rom\u00e2nia necesit\u0103 o aten\u021bie special\u0103 din partea autorit\u0103\u021bilor, cu implementarea unei strategii na\u021bionale, care s\u0103 vizeze at\u00e2t reducerea num\u0103rului de accidente vasculare \u0219i accesul echitabil la tratament pentru pacien\u021bii de pe \u00eentreg teritoriul \u021b\u0103rii (tratament acut \u0219i recuperare neurologic\u0103), c\u00e2t \u0219i asigurarea unui nivel satisf\u0103c\u0103tor al calit\u0103\u021bii vie\u021bii pentru persoana care a supravie\u021buit unui accident vascular cerebral.<\/p>

De ce este important ca oamenii s\u0103 recunoasc\u0103 semnele unui AVC \u0219i bolnavii s\u0103 ajung\u0103 foarte repede la spital? \u00cen cazul unui AVC inschemic acut sunt dou\u0103 metode de tratament t<\/strong>romboliza intravenoas\u0103 <\/strong>\u0219i trombectomia mecanic\u0103. <\/strong><\/p>

Tromboliza intravenoas\u0103 \u00eenseamn\u0103 administrarea, in maximum 4,5 ore<\/strong> de la debutul simptomatologiei, a unei perfuzii. Tratmentul are rezultate cu atat mai bune cu c\u00e2t intervalul de timp dintre debutul simptomelor \u0219i administrarea medicamentului este mai mic. Efectuarea trombolizei dup\u0103 4.5 ore de la debutul primelor semne de AVC poate duce la apari\u021bia complica\u021biilor \u0219i la agravarea st\u0103rii pacientului.<\/p>

Trombectomia mecanic\u0103 – \u00eenseamn\u0103 practic extrac\u021bia mecanic\u0103 a cheagului ce blocheaz\u0103 o arter\u0103 care irig\u0103 creierul. Aceast\u0103 procedur\u0103 se recomand\u0103 \u00een cazurile \u00een care este blocat\u0103 o arter\u0103 de calibru mare. Se paote efectua numai \u00een primele 6 ore<\/strong> de la debutul simptomatologiei.<\/p>

A fost lansat\u0103 \u00een luna mai 2022. Este o campanie avizat\u0103 de\u00a0 Ministerul S\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii, mediatizat\u0103 printr-un spot tv, un spot radio \u0219i website.<\/p>

    Este prima campanie de con\u0219tientizare a riscului unui AVC desf\u0103\u0219urat\u0103 \u00een Rom\u00e2nia.<\/p>

Proiectul se desf\u0103\u0219oar\u0103 deja in unit\u0103\u021bi de \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m\u00e2nt din toata \u021bara \u0219i se adreseaz\u0103 copiilor cu v\u00e2rste \u00eentre 5 \u0219i 9 ani.
