Our mission is to build in Romania an ecosystem dedicated to individuals with autism and their families and meant to provide the best possible conditions for a decent life, as well as the opportunity to be integrated socially and economically.

General Objective – Developing a community with individualized integrated services (medical, educational, specialised therapies) and appropriate infrastructure that leads to the achievement of the maximum potential of adolescents and young people with autism.

Lumya Campus is a pioneering project initiated by NIA Neurodiversity Academy, being structured on 3 complementary pillars:

• • Innovative and replicable structural model that leads to an increase in the quality of services dedicated to individuals with autism and their families
• • Specialised, integrated, and personalized services provided in various settings (medical clinic, therapy center, skills development programmes, vocational school, sports and recreational infrastructure), within the first multifunctional campus in Romania, dedicated to adolescents and adults with autism
• • Innovative funding model in the non-governmental sector in Romania – a balanced and complementary mix of fundraising programmes through a multitude of instruments, as well as through social entrepreneurship. 

Phase 1 (Land-10,000 sqm)

• • Outpatient medical centre
• • Multifunctional centre for therapies and independent life– 9 rooms
• • Assisted living infrastructure, for 42 de direct beneficiaries and carers. Complementary spaces – Pets enclosure, greenhouse
• • Canteen

Phase 2 – 11,500 sqm

• • Vocational school
• • Sports and recreational infrastructure
